Siding

Zion Roofing specializes in two aspects of home siding – integrity and aesthetics. There are four elements associated with your home’s exterior: fascia, soffit, trim, and siding. Quality siding is essential for protecting your home from the elements. Zion Roofing uses only high-quality materials designed to last. Your home’s curb appeal can heavily depend on the appearance of its exterior. Our services range from repairs for existing siding to complete siding installation.
Types of Sidings

Fiber Cement Siding (Hardie Board)

Becoming increasingly popular, Hardie Board offers wood-like durability. Composed of sand, wood fibers, and cement, it’s resistant to termite infestations and is fire-resistant. James Hardie, the company that produces the material, offers excellent warranties, dozens of colors, and styles, earning its reputation as one of the most sustainable siding companies in the industry. Compared to alternatives like wood siding, Hardie Board requires low maintenance.

Wood Siding

Offering quality durability and a timeless appearance, wood siding is often regarded as the most sustainable option. It can last for a century with proper maintenance and offers versatile finishes: painted, stained, or developed patina (exposed and natural).

Compressed Wood

Compressed wood, a form of engineered wood siding, is an economical alternative to traditional wood. It offers the elegance of wood while preventing issues like termite infestations and rot. It requires minimal maintenance and provides solid protection for your home against harsh weather.

Composite Siding

Composed of compressed wood byproducts bonded together with resins, composite sidings offer versatility and durability. LP SmartSide’s composite siding can be painted in any color, and finishes range from smooth to embossed.

Vinyl Siding

Made from PVC (polyvinyl chloride), vinyl siding is engineered for easy maintenance and provides protection against insects and harsh weather. It’s highly versatile and comes in a wide range of colors and patterns, such as fish scales, lap, and shakes.

While less common, other types of siding such as aluminum and metal are also available. Zion Roofing’s project manager will work with you to plan the installation of the siding that is most suitable for your home’s needs.
